Terms of Service

- This is not legal advice. Judge Anthony AI is a legal education and case-preparation tool. It is not a law firm.
- We are not your lawyer. Using it doesn't create an attorney-client relationship with Judge Anthony, with us, or with anyone else.
- Judge Anthony AI is not a substitute for the advice of an attorney. For advice about your own case, talk to a lawyer licensed where your case is.
- The answers come from AI, and AI can be wrong. It can misstate the law, misread a document, or invent cases and citations. Check everything before you rely on it, file it or send it.
- Your chats are private to your account, but they aren't privileged. The other side in your case could ask a court to see them.
- It isn't for emergencies. If you or your children are in danger, call 911, or your local emergency number outside the US and Canada. See section 6.
- Your membership renews every month until you cancel. You can cancel online at any time.
1. The agreement
These terms are a contract between you and Judge Anthony Consulting LLC ("Judge Anthony AI", "we", "us"). They cover:
- the Judge Anthony AI app at judgeanthony.ai;
- our websites, judgeanthony.com and evaluate.judgeanthony.com;
- the courses and products we sell.
You agree to these terms when you create an account, start a membership, or buy something from us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. If you don't agree to these terms, please don't use the service.
2. Who can use it
- You must be 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live if that's higher.
- The service is for your own family-law matter, or one you're directly involved in.
- One person per account. Don't share your sign-in.
- Give us accurate account details and keep them up to date.
- You can't use the service if we've closed your account before for breaking these terms.
3. What Judge Anthony AI is, and isn't
What it is
Judge Anthony AI gives you legal information and education, helps you organize your case, analyzes your documents and messages, and helps you draft documents. It's built to cover family law in all 50 US states and DC, and in Canada, England and Wales, Ireland, Germany and Poland.
What it isn't
- It isn't a law firm, and it doesn't give legal advice.
- Using it doesn't create an attorney-client relationship.
- Judge Anthony AI is not a substitute for the advice of an attorney.
- It won't file anything for you, and it won't contact the court, the other parent or anyone else for you.
- It can't predict whether you'll win, and it's instructed not to tell you that you will. Case Strength shows how well the evidence you've shared supports each point you want to make. It doesn't predict what a judge will do.
About Judge Anthony
Judge Anthony is a retired judge. When you use this service, he isn't acting as a judge and he isn't your lawyer. He doesn't personally review your chats or the AI's answers. He is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, but he does not act as any member's attorney, and using this service does not create an attorney-client relationship with him or with us.
Laws change
Law and court rules change, and they vary from court to court. What the service tells you may be incomplete or out of date for your court. We strongly encourage you to talk to a lawyer licensed where your case is. Many areas have free or low-cost legal aid and court self-help centers.
4. The AI
- You're dealing with AI, not a person. Replies are written by Claude, an AI made by Anthropic. No person reviews them before you see them.
- It can be wrong. It can misstate the law, misread your documents, mix up facts or people, and invent cases, statutes or quotes that look real.
- Check every legal source. Before you rely on a case, statute or rule, or put it in a filing, look it up in an official source.
- Check your court's rules on AI. Some courts require you to say when you used AI, or to certify that your citations are real.
- Deadlines are yours to confirm. Never rely on the AI to work out a court deadline. Confirm it with the court clerk or a lawyer.
- Drafts are starting points. Documents the AI drafts for you are not court-approved forms. Your court may require its own forms, format or filing steps.
- You're responsible for what you do with it. That includes everything you file, send or say.
- Anthropic's rules apply too. You agree not to use the service in any way that breaks Anthropic's Usage Policy.
5. Privacy and privilege
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, who receives it, and how long we keep it.
Your chats are private to your account, but they aren't protected by attorney-client privilege. In a court case, the other side could ask for them, and we may be required by law to hand over records. Don't leave out facts you need help with, but write as if a judge might one day read it: stick to what happened, and leave out insults or threats.
Keep your own copies of anything important. We're not a record-keeping service, and features can change. You can download your chats from the Chats panel.
6. Emergencies and safety
Judge Anthony AI can't reliably tell whether you're in danger, and it can't call anyone for you. If you tell the chat that you or your children are in danger, or that you're thinking about harming yourself, it's instructed to put your safety first and point you to crisis help like the numbers below. It may not always recognize a crisis, so don't wait for it. If you or your children are in danger, get help now:
| Where you are | Emergency | Other help |
|---|---|---|
| United States | 911 | 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline: call or text 988. National Domestic Violence Hotline: 1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788. |
| Canada | 911 | Suicide Crisis Helpline: call or text 9-8-8 |
| England and Wales | 999 | Samaritans: 116 123. National Domestic Abuse Helpline: 0808 2000 247. |
| Ireland | 112 or 999 | Samaritans: 116 123. Women's Aid: 1800 341 900. |
| Germany | 110 (police), 112 (ambulance) | TelefonSeelsorge: 0800 111 0 111. Hilfetelefon Gewalt gegen Frauen: 116 016. |
| Poland | 112 | Niebieska Linia: 800 120 002. Crisis line: 116 123. |
7. Plans and prices
| Plan | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $69 a month | First-time members pay $1 for their first 7 days, then $69 a month. |
| Case Companion | $149 a month | Full price from day one. No $1 week. |
| War Room | $299 a month | Full price from day one. No $1 week. |
| Beta Legacy | $49 a month | For existing founding members only. No longer offered. |
| Black Robe Free Look | Free | A limited number of Black Robe reply drafts (currently 5). No main chat. |
- What each plan includes: monthly message and document limits are shown on our pricing page and on your Account page. Limits reset every month.
- The $1 week is for first-time members. You get one per person. If you've had one before, under any email address, we won't offer it again. Stripe's checkout page shows you the full price before you pay.
- Message credits: where your plan offers them, extra messages are sold in packs (currently $20 for 100). Credits don't expire. You can use them only while you have an active membership.
- Fair use: a plan described as "fair use" is meant for one person's own case, at a normal human pace. If use looks automated or shared, or goes far beyond normal personal use, we may contact you, slow things down, or offer you a plan that fits.
- Currency and tax: prices are in US dollars. If tax applies, it will be shown at checkout.
- Your price stays put: while you stay on a plan, its monthly price won't go up. If you switch plans, you pay that plan's current price. We may change prices for new members at any time.
- Plans we offered in the past keep the terms that applied when you joined. If we ever change them, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email, and you can cancel before the change takes effect.
8. Billing and automatic renewal
Your membership renews automatically every month until you cancel. When you start a membership, you authorize us, through our payment processor Stripe, to charge your payment method as follows:
- Starter with the $1 week: $1 when you sign up. Then $69 when your 7 days end, and $69 every month after that on the same date, until you cancel.
- Any other plan: the full monthly price when you sign up, and the same amount every month after that on the same date, until you cancel.
There's no minimum term and no cancellation fee. To avoid the $69 charge after the $1 week, cancel before your 7 days end. Section 9 explains how. We email you a reminder about 3 days before your 7 days end, but the charge still happens if that email doesn't reach you, so don't rely on it.
- Failed payments: if a payment fails, Stripe may retry it and email you. If it still can't be collected, your membership will be cancelled and your access will end.
- Changing plans: go to your Account page and choose "Manage or cancel subscription". Stripe shows you the new price, and when it starts, before you confirm.
- Beta Legacy members: you're billed $49 a month through our other processor, NMI, until you cancel.
- Think a charge is wrong? Email info@judgeanthony.com first. We can usually fix it faster than your bank can.
9. Cancelling
You can cancel online at any time. You don't have to call anyone.
- Starter, Case Companion and War Room: go to your Account page and choose "Manage or cancel subscription". That opens Stripe's secure page, where you cancel. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for (for the $1 week, until your 7 days end). You won't be charged again.
- Beta Legacy: go to your Account page and choose "Cancel My Subscription". Access ends right away, and you lose Beta pricing. If you come back, you'll choose a current plan.
If cancelling online doesn't work, for example the page shows an error or you don't see a way to cancel, email info@judgeanthony.com from your account's email address. We'll cancel for you and treat your cancellation as made on the day you emailed.
Before you cancel, download any chats you want to keep. Once your access ends, you can't sign in to use the app.
What happens to your case file: we keep your account and case file so everything is still there if you rejoin. Today we don't delete them automatically after any set period. If you want them deleted, email judgeanthony2026@gmail.com.
If you live in the EU or UK, you also have a legal right to cancel a new membership within 14 days. See section 10.
10. Refunds
We don't give refunds for partial months, or for any month in which you used the app. If you were charged for a month in which you didn't use the app at all, email judgeanthony2026@gmail.com and we'll review your request. If you live in the EU or UK, your legal 14-day cancellation right is explained below.
EU and UK: your 14-day right to cancel. If you live in the EU or UK, you can cancel a new membership within 14 days of buying it without giving a reason. If you do, we'll refund what you paid in full. To cancel this way, email info@judgeanthony.com from your account's email address and say you're cancelling. We'll refund you within 14 days, to your original payment method.
Nothing in these terms takes away any refund right the law gives you.
11. Courses and downloads
- We sell courses and downloads, such as the Courtroom Survival Kit and Prepare Like A Lawyer, on evaluate.judgeanthony.com and our course pages. They're legal education, not legal advice.
- The refund terms shown on the offer page apply. Today those are:
- Courtroom Survival Kit: all sales are final, because you get instant access to digital files.
- Prepare Like A Lawyer: a 5-day money-back guarantee. Email support within 5 days of getting access and we'll refund you in full.
- When you buy a course, NMI stores your card. That lets you add the offer on the next page with one click, without typing your card again.
- Some courses are delivered through ClickFunnels, and you'll get a separate login for them.
- Courses are licensed for your personal use. Don't share, copy or resell them.
12. Your account
- Keep your password safe. We recommend turning on two-factor sign-in on your Account page.
- If you sign in with Google or Apple, anyone who can get into that Google or Apple account can get into your Judge Anthony AI account too, so keep it secure. If you've turned on two-factor sign-in, you'll always sign in with your password and a code instead.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- If you think someone else has got into your account, reset your password (which signs you out everywhere) and email us.
- On a shared phone or computer, sign out from the chat page when you finish. You can also turn on "Sign me out when I stop using it" on your Account page. Today it signs you out only while the chat page is open. See the Privacy Policy for what Quick Leave does and doesn't do.
13. Rules for using it
Don't use Judge Anthony AI to:
- break the law or a court order. Some documents, such as custody evaluations, guardian ad litem reports and sealed records, may be covered by orders that limit who you can share them with. Check before you upload them.
- upload recordings you made illegally. Some places make it a crime to record a conversation without everyone's permission. If you're not sure your recording was legal, ask a lawyer before you upload or use it.
- harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate or impersonate anyone, including the other parent, or to publish someone's private information.
- upload sexual images of a child, even as evidence. Having or sending them is a crime. Give them to the police, or report them at report.cybertip.org. We must report any we find.
- break, overload or get around the service. That includes scraping it, automating access, trying to get around its limits or safeguards, and trying to extract its instructions.
- share or resell your account, or use the service to work on other people's cases as a business, for example as a paid document preparer.
- build a competing product from the service or its answers.
- do anything Anthropic's Usage Policy forbids.
If you break these rules, we may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close your account.
14. Your content
- What you put in stays yours. That means your messages, uploads and case details.
- You give us permission to use it to run the service. That means storing, copying and processing it, and sending it to the service providers named in our Privacy Policy. We use it only to provide the service to you, keep it secure, fix problems and test improvements, as the Privacy Policy describes. This permission ends when your content is deleted, except for copies we must keep by law or that sit in backups until they're replaced.
- No AI training. We don't use your content to train AI models. Anthropic's terms with us don't allow it to either.
- What the AI writes for you is yours to use for your own case. We don't claim ownership of documents the AI drafts for you. Other members may get similar answers.
- Information about other people: when you share information about someone else, you're confirming you have the right to share it with us for this purpose.
- Feedback: if you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without paying you. Any case details in your feedback are still protected by our Privacy Policy.
15. Our content
The app, its design, its instructions to the AI, Judge Anthony's methods and materials, our courses and videos, and the Judge Anthony name and logo belong to us or the people we license them from. You may use them for your own case. Don't copy, sell or republish them.
16. Changes to the service
We improve the service all the time, so features may be added, changed or removed. The service may sometimes be unavailable, for example during maintenance or an outage. If we take away something important from your paid plan, we'll tell you, and you can cancel.
17. Other companies' services
We rely on other companies, such as Stripe, NMI and Anthropic, to run parts of the service. Their own terms may also apply to you. For example, Stripe's terms apply on its checkout page. We aren't responsible for their services, or for websites we link to.
18. Disclaimers
We work hard to make Judge Anthony AI accurate and useful. But to the fullest extent the law allows, we provide it "as is" and "as available". We don't promise that it will be accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will fit your purpose. We don't promise any result in your case. This section doesn't affect rights that the law says can't be excluded.
19. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- We aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data.
- We aren't liable for the outcome of any legal matter, or for decisions you make based on the service.
- Our total liability for all claims about the service is limited to the greater of (a) what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) $100.
These limits don't apply to liability that can't be limited by law. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and liability for fraud. If you're a consumer in the EU, the UK or Canada, the protections your local law gives you still apply.
If you're a consumer in Germany, sections 18 and 19 apply to you only as follows. We're fully liable for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz), and under any guarantee we give. For slight negligence, we're liable only if we breach an obligation that's essential to the contract (one you can normally rely on us to meet), and then only for the typical damage that could be foreseen when you signed up.
If you're a consumer in the UK, nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including your right to have the service provided with reasonable care and skill. We don't exclude or limit any liability that sections 31 or 57 of that Act don't allow us to.
If you live in New Jersey, nothing in sections 18, 19 or 20 limits any right or remedy you have under New Jersey law, including under the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act and the Truth-in-Consumer Contract, Warranty and Notice Act.
20. If you break these terms
If you break these terms or the law, or violate someone else's rights, and that leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim. This applies only as far as the law where you live allows.
21. Suspending or closing accounts
- You can stop using the service at any time. Cancel your membership, and ask us to delete your data if you want to (see our Privacy Policy).
- We may suspend or close your account if:
- you break these terms;
- you don't pay;
- we have to because of the law;
- continuing would put you, other people or the service at risk.
- If we close your account when you haven't broken these terms, we'll refund the unused part of any period you've already paid for.
22. Disputes
- Talk to us first. Most problems can be fixed with an email. Write to info@judgeanthony.com, and give us 30 days to try to put it right before you start a legal claim.
- Which law applies: the laws of Florida and of the United States govern these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
- Where claims go: claims go to the state or federal courts in Duval County, Florida. Either of us can instead bring a claim in small-claims court if it qualifies.
- If you live outside the US: if you're a consumer in the EU, the UK, Canada or another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the place where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
23. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new date. For important changes, we'll email members before the changes take effect. If a change affects your price, how renewal works, or how we use your information, we'll ask you to accept it before it applies to you. For other changes, if you keep using the service after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms. If you don't agree, you can cancel. Changes don't apply to disputes that began before the change.
24. Electronic notices
You agree that we can give you notices, receipts and other messages by email or in the app, and that these count as "in writing". Keep your email address up to date.
25. The fine print
- These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the service.
- If a court finds any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
- If we don't enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later.
- You can't transfer your account or these terms to someone else. We may transfer them as part of a merger, sale or reorganization. If we do, your rights under these terms continue.
- We aren't responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
